MP Sabac stands for Metaloplastika Sabac, a factory for toys and other plastic goods in the Serbian city of Sabac. In the 1980s, the company produced several copies of Italian Bburago models, namely Renault 14 TL and Fiat 127 in 1/24th scale as well as Mercedes 450 SLC AMG and Fiat Ritmo in 1/43rd scale. Like the Bburago models, the Serbian copies are made of diecast, but the quality of the finish is slightly lower. A Porsche 911 Cabriolet and possibly some other models made by MP Sabac were not based on Bburago models.
